I have been WEP'd and GPO'd for almost 9 years and never thought the offsets would be repealed, but the Retiree Fed union NARFE was relentless and finally succeeded.

But the repeal would have never passed if it had not gotten through last year when we had more Dems in Congress and Senate and an Administration that wanted to enhance, not cut SS.

Haven't gotten any backpay yet from my own SS and had to file new claim back in January to get something from spouse's SS back in January but haven't heard anything so far. Hopefully will hear soon and start getting SOMETHING from SS each month since after age 65 they have withheld all of my SS after taking out for Medicare Premium plus I still owed Medicare as SS wasn't even enough to cover the $185 per month for Medicare.
