I think it is handled as a postdated check. It does not matter when it arrives, the transaction
is completed on the check date which for me is the second Wednesday of the month. This
started in my case with my first check in January when the deposit appeared on the Friday
before the second Wednesday. It sat in pending state until the second Wednesday and
changed from pending to posted when the bank does all the necessary steps to complete
the transaction. Last year it showed up the day before it was due and processed overnight
so, it showed posted on Wednesday.

OP
Ours arrived on the scheduled day, & our federal tax and state return took less than 7 days to be IN our direct deposit.

I can imagine. It's a huge part of what we have worked for and planned ahead for all our lives.

Wondering if that is due to your bank slowing the credit to your account

Old folks aren't really wanted in the job force now. It's cruel. I made the decision 20 years ago to go into business

I know. We were talking safes, too. We've already got a small fireproof one for deeds and documents,

I'm sure some are worried. But I wasn't. My payment was deposited, on schedule, in full, today.

Here is what is frightening: 40% of retired Americans rely solely on Social Security.

The point is fear. When we're afraid enough, we'll accept the Project 2025 traitors,
