3. Good question.

I'm not a stock market investor in any way. Never have been. I've always invested in real estate in my small way, and that has worked pretty well for me. that was my father's advice. "Buy real estate, son. Buy your first house as soon as you can. Live in it. Let it increase in value. Work on it yourself."

So, that's what I did. Sold that first house and bought another. Sold that one and bought another. Each time, the new house cost less than the house I sold. Never refinanced any of them. Paid off the mortgages. Now I'm old and retired. I still have a paid-off house. I like that.
