I took a shot and left messages with DC offices of the 8 Dem Senators who might vote Yes on the CR. I was really frank saying supporting this would a BIG mistake. Schumer was first on the list.

Time to take a stand, Chuck.
It is better to suffer some pain in the short term than to see everything continue to be totally destroyed unopposed. We can win this. I am sure you will get the support of the thousands of government employees fired by DOGE. Get them on-camera. The blame can easily be placed on Repubs. Make it clear to the public what is REALLY happening.

Did you see Senator Larson's emotional performance beating the hell out of Repubs?? That is exactly what every Senate Dem needs to do....tomorrow. Get loud. Go public. Keep it up.

With respect to the courts. They are going to be in it Big Time regardless, and they can reverse the damage when they get back. Considering the absolute lawlessness of what MuskTrump is doin right now, the courts may be the only recourse we have. You can't stop them if you don't have the votes. Chuck, you've got the votes right now.
