Feel free to say I break some sort of rule here, but I support the House Democrats!!! I do not support Schumer voting "yes".

Many very vulnerable House members, all in 2 year term jobs (not 6 years like the Senate), took a stand to not cede Legislative budget power to the Executive Branch. They were not consulted at all in the crafting of the bill. They agreed to come back at any time to pass a clean CR budget.

Some Senate Democrats are betraying those Democratic House Members. Trump will not be more conciliatory in September when we go through this ordeal again. He will never give up the power ceded to him by the Legislature in this Bill. Courts now will have no option but to side with the administration on mass firings (well, the Legislature agreed to give power of the purse to the Executive Branch, so there isn't much we can do).

A temporary government shutdown is horrible, but the right thing to do.
