Trump's never going to give that power back. Never.
And I doubt Schumer's ever going to get house democrats trust back either, after that stunt. He just sent a message that he's okay with repubs putting bills up for vote that dems had no say in. Apparently Fetterman posted that he would never vote to shut the government down & AOC responded, if they put a national abortion ban into the bill what then? Cuz that's kind of what happened here with Trump's power grab.
