And it was at the heart of Schumer's logic but passing that CR has now locked in the cuts they've already made and made it legit with bipartisan congressional approval of the CR.
It also gave up all congressional authority on trade policy.
That CR was our last opportunity to control the budget. From this point forward we have zero control. They will bundle all the changes TSF wants into a reconciliation bill and pass it on a simple majority and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Those 10 people choose to concede all Senate Democrats power to a dictator.

Worse is that over the next several months as they pass the new parts of the budget out of committees, that Democrats cannot stop it but people won't understand that and they will get blamed for it too.
