I don't want a king in any way, but if we are to have it, let it be a wise king.

The Executive has been gaining power since WW2 and perhaps earlier. Trump has relegated Congress to a quasi-advisory council, and frankly Congress hasn't been able to exercise effective power in perhaps 15 years.

I'm more willing to accept a demagogue, too.

My politics have been cheapened by Trump. I'll always vote for a Democrat, but now it is an act of anger and defiance, not one of affirmation.

How should the Democratic President behave? Destroy the wall.

Welcome all the tempest tossed and huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

Oh, and eliminate the Department of Homeland Security. Time for that beast to die.
