24. Repeating the message that didn't really work from his Daily interview is a choice

Doesn't seem to be a good choice. In the previous interview it sounded a lot like he was saying he personally made the choice of who would be in the race for senator in other states which seems to be overstating things.

I think at the very best he's not capable of effectively arguing in favor of his vote. At worst he's trying to cover for not being able to hold his caucus together. I would hope that he's just bad at communicating why he voted as he did. But the redirection isn't a good look.
