(26,019 posts)and his creeps, the doge gang, weren't elected, weren't approved by Congress, there seems to be no rhyme or reasoning w/ the cuts other than the fact that it was a fed. program, despite perhaps it being created by decree by Congress to begin w/, or the program
does genuine good for people.
Disaster is awaiting since there wasn't any advance preparation in getting states ready to step into the gaps left wide open in so many different areas of our Economy and our infrastructure by the abrupt shutdown of these programs. I daresay that some serious damage has been done too, and will continue, in closing a lot of these programs down abruptly. A lot of these things are not just a matter of shutting the back door and locking it.
Again, as I say, monitor these doge idiots. Out them in every manner possible. Make sure that their irresponsible actions now will have a heavy price in the future as to their future job prospects. Make sure that their potential new bosses are fully aware of their despicable role in plain gutting of all federal programs w/o any control or say so by us, whom Congress is supposedly supposed to represent. From what I'm hearing, Congress is running away from very dissatisfied voters and refuse to hold anymore town hall meetings.
in the future all about their gutting out of federal programs, w/o any say-so by Congress or anyone monitoring them (no one is obviously, unless Congress steps in).
Small steps to take back control....
-we're close to control of Congress/the House. Continue to support new democratic representatives and bring a breath of fresh air into Congress.
-Resist at every turn, post your remarks, your opinions, don't be afraid...this is still a free Country still and our opinion does matter, believe it or not.
There are, of course, other steps that can be done, but for now, one step at a time seems like good advice. We're still picking our way through the mess that djt is leaving, just in the first month or so of his term. He's a walking disaster area, and FEMA is no longer there to clean up the mess.
