89. When I was a teenager, our 2 Siamese cats caught a Peeping Tom.

It was during the summer, and Koko & Yum Yum started slinking around and acting spooked, then staring out of the window into the night. This went on for a week or so. My dad was a police officer who worked the 8 pm to 4 am shift. This always happened after he went to work, and neither my mom nor I ever saw anything. One night Dad acted like he was going to work but actually had taken the night off. He drove away, but parked out of sight & snuck back into the house. When the cats started acting spooked, Dad snuck outside & saw a teenager/young adult male on his tiptoes peering into our windows. Dad managed to come up behind him, then fired a round from his service revolver into the ground, then bellowed, "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" The peeping tom screamed then ran down our dirt driveway as fast as his legs could carry him.

Problem solved, LOL. Kitty heroes. They got their favorite treat of smelt that they inhaled whole, just like seals do.
