Irreparable harm . . .

But seriously, the real harm is not just some of the most obvious errors existed for a few days - but that so many less obvious erroneous removals may never even be noticed and restored. All of that carefully reconstructed history (because we know darn well it wasn't included from the beginning) may be gone forever.
