who was sent to honor him on behalf of the Air Force. He told the congregation that he was selected to represent Air Force because most of the active duty officers who would normally attend to honor such a historical figure would not do so fearing reprisals from the Trump administration. Some were nearing retirement and others up for promotions would not dare to make any moves seen as disobeying anti-DEI orders from this administration.

It was more than shocking to here this from a retired General. It was heartbreaking.
