Sanders and his ilk hail from the bluest of blue areas -- places where Democrats are already winning and would continue to win if he (or they) chose not to run and some random run-of-the-mill Democrat took their place instead.
If Sanders and his progressive disciples could win in purple/red areas, they would be. But they aren't.
Fact of the matter is Sanders is the poster child for all the slurs Republicans have hurled at our party as a whole for the past few decades and the only reason some on the right seem to like him is because they realize he's good at dividing those on the left and helping their MAGA buddies win elections.
