* are bought-and-paid-for (ie: corrupt) does not motivate people to support Democrats over Republicans. This has been a oft-repeated mantra about Democrats, I'm surprised that there's anyone around who hasn't already heard any of the many dozen different versions of it. Some subtle, others less-so... it runs the gamut.
