what being a Liberal Democrat means. I remember when I use to watch the interviews where they had a Democrat and a Thug both. Everytime the Democrat started to speak the thugs would shout over them and the Democrat would politely and in a normal volume say, "it's my turn let me speak." The Republicans never complied. Yet the Democrats rarely if ever tried to shout the Republicans down. Yes civility and decorum have value, but not to the point where you let other people manipulate you into silence with it.

Also why would anyone vote for a watered down version of former Republican policies when they lossed their own party to a bunch of lunatics? Democrats need to get out our message about who we actually are. It's also our turn to define the Republicans as who and what they are. People who mostly care about their own well being, white supremacists, and helping billionaires.

If we have to get loud, in their face, and occasionally out right nasty to them so be it. The country needs a viable opposition and that's not going to be achieved from always trying to follow the Miss Manners playbook.
