did strike a deal unpalatable to those who just voted him back into office.

When PBO agreed to continue the Bush tax cuts last time there were a lot of posters here doing back flips approving of what he had done.

If, and I don't believe that he will, PBO was to do this again I would expect to see the same acrobatic team warming up for a big "He had to do it" routine: worthy of an Olympic gold.
