115. This jackass does not speak for God.

We should avoid conflating fools like Dobson with a God of any definition.

He shows no signs that God is in him.
He uses God as a prop.
He uses Biblical verses to rationalize his hatred and anger.
He wants God to speak for him, not vice versa.

I would tell him that, yes, I agree that God might be punishing us.
And that I agree that God might be angry because we have failed
to drive out the evil from our midst.

But "the evil" that we tolerate is embodied in his wingnut conservatism --
the gun-worshiping, war-mongering, hate-filled, death-merchant type --
and those conservatives who attempt to sell us the Satanic lie that,
"guns = peace, security, safety, and freedom."' You are the reason,
Mr. Dobson, that violence flourishes.

Guns = Death. More Guns = More Death.

What can I do when your right to spray bullets from guns abridges
my right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Is the answer
really that much of a conundrum ??
