2. I've been thinking a lot about The Last Battle.

Lewis showed how easy it was to fool most of the country's residents with a Big Lie. A few evildoers were in on the lie, but most of the people of Narnia were genuinely fooled and perplexed.

Also, the Big Lie was designed to give the country and its riches to outsiders, who helped facilitate the Big Lie.

In the end, the country was destroyed and replaced with something better. Most people wanted the better, kinder place but a few would not allow themselves to believe the truth, at all.
