The way the Right has twisted the teachings of Christ to mean cruelty and revenge is just so wrong. I am not religious, but it's so disheartening to see so many so self identified Christians going along with so much evil. A prominent voice reminding them what the Christ actually taught is really needed right now. And there's no more prominent a voice in Christendom than the Pope. I hope he is in the US often.
