(6,083 posts)Is it not true that airplanes get stressed over time from the forces of take off and landing done repeatedly? So if true, that bucket of bolts will need considerable restoration just to make sure it is safe to use as AF1. That is to say nothing about replacement of every single bit of the upgraded safety and security equipment necessary to be worthy of flying our countrys highest officers.
And honestly, anyone who thinks tRump will allow that plane to really belong to the US government is delusional. He is salivating at the thought of having his very own flying palace. He figures everyone will conveniently forget about it and never notice when he takes it with him wherever he goes.
That gift will come with a huge price tag that trump intends to foist off on the tax payers
.certainly not a grifter like him.
