I've watch Moskowitz in several of his hearings and you are completely misrepresenting him, both in terms of his Gulf of America comment (do you have a link to what you saw exactly?) and his """support for DOGE.""" He is very scathing in the way he makes his trademark satirical/tongue-in-cheek comments about various GOP initiatives. For anyone that has actually watched him and not read/watched something taken completely out of context, they would know he doesn't actually support calling it Gulf of America or the DOGE ridiculousness. Case in point, here's a video of him talking about DOGE:

Moskowitz joined the Committee on DOGE in order to attack it from within. Brilliant!

Thanks. In his defence (half-hearted though it might be), it looks like he was putting air quotes around the term.

Moskowitz is one of our best - a candidate for the Rookie of this Congress. I agree that he was being sarcastic.

I find his reference to the allegedly "sane" people in the Trump administration to be notable.

He was being sarcastic, as shown by his use of air quotes (visible at 1:45 in the video posted by Malaise, #23).

The Democratic congressman's last name is Moskowitz, I get it. No further explanation is required.

There are a hell of a lot of conservative Democrats in the South. Some a little more to the right than MAGA.

It is important context for understanding why this Democrat is being attacked for an innocuous sarcastic remark.
