those ICE "officers" just cuff 'em and haul 'em, before anyone gets a chance to object. The individual can't object, because even if he or she has papers on hand, those just disappear in the process of arresting, and quickly deporting.

If you're a citizen and get hauled off and your ID confiscated, you're going to have a very hard time proving who you are once you land in some other country.

There is nobody watching these cops, nor holding them to any sort of account at all. We don't even know who they are. For all I know, they're Proud Boys rounded up and given masks and ICE POLICE vests and told to cuff 'em and haul 'em. How can you hold them to account if you don't know who they are?
