Serious question? What is supposed to happen to the US born children when ICE detains their parents? [View all]
Just watched a video where parents on the way to their daughter's graduation were stopped and asked for their papers. JFC.
They have 2 adult daughters and a 16 yr old son. Luckily his sisters are adults and will step in to care for him. But what if there are no adults? This kid goes to Foster Care?
Foster care is not free. I have so much respect for people who are foster parents. So this is not a dig at them. Moreso the government concerned about "waste and fraud", removing parents that are working and caring for their child/children and now making those children a ward of the Government and paying someone else to care for the child. If the case drags on for months, or in some cases years, this child/children gets bounced around in foster care? If they are lucky they end up with a caring foster family.
Funny the MAGA/QAnon conspiracy theorists, don't seem to be concerned about the harm that could come to these kids.
