Before you jump on my case, remember that Dubya left the White House fifteen years ago. Fifteen years ago, not yesterday, not last week, not last month, but fifteen years ago. That’s proven to be more than ample time for racism to permeate the Republican Party from top to bottom, especially with a large faction of it already racist and nativist and with the Far Right fanning the flames..
And should some well-meaning (Or clueless or both) Republican apologist cite the—ahem—noble example 
of the Bushes, they need to be put down with the brutal truth: “That was then, this is now” and the Bush faction is no longer calling the shots. The Republican Party is Trump’s party.
