Based on the recent polling and what I am seeing on social media I think people know what is in this bill and hate it. Chuck is trying to show that Dems are doing something but the reality is that the most telling comment came from Mitch when he said their voters will get over it. Republicans know that everyone hates this bill but they are betting on the fact that their voters will just blame “politicians” instead of them and will keep voting for them. This bill is happening in large part because Republicans know they never have to benefit their constituents in tangible ways.
