I also report as spam.

These PACs and campaigns are great at separating fools from their money, while delivering nothing. They’re just another obnoxious televangelist grifting for cash. On top of that, in this political climate you have no idea if it’s real or a scam, and nobody should be clicking links in text messages or emails, or giving to anything they connect to.

Dems need to be judicious with their money, and only donate to specific candidates who are proving to be winners, or coming into a primary with tough messaging and a real track record either politically or in organizing and helping their community.

Even as I’m writing this, I got another one of these messages from a campaign I told to STOP more than once. It’s my second unwelcome televangelist grift text of the day.

We have the power to make change in a flailing, weak, and too-comfortable party. I urge you to give money, but be HIGHLY SELECTIVE, and do not give them either legitimate emails (use a 1 hr burner email service) or phone number. Cut off their ability to mass-troll for cash, do not give to any Dem group from PACs to DNC that will funnel your donation to any campaigns but where you want it to go (yes, I know they have to share some, but we can minimize that), and get real, solid Dems into office in not only national and statewide offices, but LOCAL.
