That is 1/4th folks. That is only 7 years away
If people in office do not get their acts together and lift the caps on SS, it is not only Senior Citizens that are in for a world of hurt.. Young people starting out with little families will have the added burden of supporting elderly relatives..
The republicans have always hated the fact that the elderly got Social Security to back up their retirement savings.
They have spent decades trying to tear it down through sheer negligence every time they get into office. They are going to drown it in the bathtub so to speak..
