7. Gerrymandering does suck...

...and I'm hopeful that Texas state Dems can stop the effort in Texas.

Having said that, the breakdown of the current Texas Congressional delegation is closer to how Texas voted in the 2024 Presidential election than either California or New York. If Texas is able to complete their reapportionment plan, they'll be on par with California, percentage-wise.

All of this is to say that outlawing gerrymandering might help Democrats when it comes to house seats or it might not.
