Texas Roadhouse is under fire from a Trump-aligned legal group accusing it of discriminating against white men. Conservative lawyers are arguing that the 600-store steak chain has allegedly given women and people of color preferential treatment in hiring.

AFL claims the company considers race, gender and ethnicity in board of directors selections, tracks employees’ demographic data, and implements DEI-focused policies that pose a “reputational risk” to the business.

“The evidence demonstrates that the Company’s hiring, promotion, and recruitment practices violate state and federal law. The evidence also demonstrates that the Company has prioritized unlawful diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and policies over shareholder value,” the complaint states, according to the New York Post...
