(4,418 posts)If Israel were a Christian or Hindu nation, with the same history of ethnic cleansing and Occupation, brutality and oppression of Palestinians, Oct. 7th would still have happened.
It is not who the people of Israel are, it is what they have done to Palestinians.
That this simple, obvious fact is deliberately, repeatedly misrepresented is key to decoding and understanding all of Israel's false narratives. Also how Israel evades accountability and can act with the impunity rightly denied to other rogue states.
And Chris Hedges is right too. Lots of money to be made in war and genocide.
Money in occupation and apartheid too. Corporations are raking in the dough from Palestinian oppression and genocide. See Ms Albanese's report on that very subject!
