(21,067 posts)83. Senate Democrats should invite Anthony Aguilar to testify. They should also subpoena GHF officials
to explain exactly where they got the "evidence" that they released to counter Anthony Aguilar's claims. If GHF manufactured those screen caps of text messages, they need to be held to account.
They should then subpoena the 18 GHF employees who worked with retired Lt. Colonel Aguilar and question them about their sworn affidavits disputing Aguilar's claims and detailing the reasons why Mr. Aguilar was "fired". Lying under oath is a serious offense.
Retired Lt. Colonel Aguilar should also consider suing the GHF for slander. The GHF held a press conference and presented "evidence" that besmirched the retired Green Beret's good name. Hold GHF to account!
