(1,378 posts)Michael Scott from The Office. At least emotionally. Note - that I love that character that despite his shortcomings you can see deep inside he's a wounded soul and is written in an extremely funny (yet somehow sympathetic) way.
However, Scott is narcissistic to the nth degree (as he himself says: "Do I need to be liked? Absolutely not. I like to be liked. I enjoy being liked. I have to be liked, but it's not like this compulsive need to be liked, like my need to be praised" ) and wants his employees to worship him (Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.).
Scott often uses words in incorrect ways (hilarious in the show...in real life shake your head worthy). He also can ramble ("Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way." ), wants to fire people who he's not supposed to (when told he can't fire the HR rep he hates and is told he needs a reason, he replies "I have cause. It is beCAUSE I hate him" ), can't take the smallest slight at his expense, objectifies women, continuously says racially insensitive things. He also uses pop culture references from decades past almost like he never left the 70s and 80s.
