Its difficult, but we have to wrap our heads around the fact that this is nothing new. Rape is as old as time. The more power you have the more you rape. But, men don't need to have actual power to rape. But they seek it out to make them feel more powerful.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm starting to lose what little naive hope I had. We slip a little more backwards everyday and he and his crew of really powerful ugly men and women are working at lightning speed to end any semblance of equality and compassion we thought we built up over our life times.
