I just did a price check on 4 items I regularly buy. Here's compared to 1/07/2025

7. I work at a grocery store

We rarely have pricr changes compared to other chains.
There are a few items where the prices have increased noticeably.

Meat, poultry and fish 80/20 ground beef was $4.99 a pound last month now $5.99
Ground turkey and chicken had the same increase and beef even more

Coffee (store brand small bag) went from $4.99 last year to $8.99 currently

Chocolate has increased quie a bit which has increased prices on all cookies and candies.

What surprised me was the increase in orange juice. It went from $3.49 for a half gallon to $5.99.

Most fruits and vegetables are in season so little to no change in pricing. I'm pretty sure that will change this winter if the tarrifis remain in place.
