Social Security …
ANY government medical care assistance …
ANY social services…
Military equipment manufacturing …
Food safety laws and inspections…
… before these services were first introduced.

No precedent for Medicare for All? Meaningless. Our government, lest some forget, is for serving the people. Someday, when we finally have enough elected officials who care about serving the people, we will get Medicare for all. Hopefully, it will be soon. There is no law granting health insurance companies the right to operate in perpetuity.
