In my opinion we missed a huge opportunity immediately after the failed coup attempt. There were a few corporations which said that they would not support any politicians involved in the coup.

There was no big public support for these corporations nor was there a big public outcry to prosecute vigorously all of those involved. Most citizens, I mean consumers, just went back to normal. The corporations just drifted back to giving money to politicians "on both sides".
We have only a few levers of power, and our financial power over some corporations should be used far more.
