20. I just started collecting SS

and I'm worried either way. If Trump becomes full fledged dictator, I don't see how SS survives.

I don't really see how we stop paying Federal taxes no matter what the states do, and if Trump withholds Federal funds from Blue states, SS is just another step down that road. I hope there is something the Blue states can withhold to prevent this, but I don't see what that is yet. General strike???

Military options will get us nowhere. They have the arsenal. No Harper Ferry raid in our sights. But I wouldn't mind a well trained state militia as deterrence (state National Guard?).

My hope is that this resistance is a temporary thing, a resistance to stop fueling the dictatorship. And when it falls, we put things back together again better than before.
