etc. are cooking up coup plans, internal propaganda in the country and spreading money around to some extreme right wing elements that they intend to prop up to take over.

The things we did to various Middle Eastern countries in the 1950's is ghastly reading and it is no wonder the average Middle Eastern citizen doesn't trust the West.
