30. I went to get a booster yesterday.

I’m back in Dallas for a few days before moving on to points south this weekend. A few guides and websites said I needed a recent Covid booster vaccination to enter, but two natives who work in our office say the info was outdated.. The “old” vaccine was running out, and not every CVS had it, but one did, and that was enough. I was in and out in 25 minutes, no charge.

The new version was not yet available. If Trump and Bobby Jr. have their way, it never will be, either, but since I live in Germany, and they can’t very well prevent the EU from letting its residents get it, I should be OK. My wife and I will be back in Düsseldorf by mid September, and it doesn’t look like the new vaccine will be out much before then. I am supposed to wait two months before getting another one anyway. Now, if we can load up on Tandrilax while we are down in Sambaland, all will be right with the world, if only temporarily, não?
