Why why why is Congress letting Trump get away with this??? These tariffs are illegal, and we aren't even hearing Dems talk about fighting this anymore (unless I'm missing something). It's like everyone shrugs their shoulders and gives up. I understand that the Democrats are in the minority, but they should still be shouting nonstop about these tariffs being illegal. These tariffs are going to hit hard very soon, and the Democratic party should at least be on record of fighting against them--relentlessly.

Trump's Presidency has revealed that all these "checks and balances" we thought we had were an illusion. If a ridiculously cartoonish (combover/orange skin) con man with an IQ of a turnip can bowl over our entire government like this, we're a joke of a country.
