A few:

Being smart isn't everything. Being a callous bully can put you at the top. (for how long and at what price is questionable).

Courage is in short supply. There are few people willing to stand up to a bully.

This means you can have whatever you want. Just go grab it and threaten/bad mouth anyone who tells you it's off limits.

I believe thoughts are things. If thoughts are things, then it means there is huge invisible pressure on him to vacate the planet.
