2. Irony and sarcasm are a good litmus test

They just don’t get it. It doesn’t compute for them.
Whether it was me or someone else throwing out an odd comment there usually is some sort of reaction. A nodding of the head at least. Not with conservatives. It literally passes them by.


Also, back in the 90’s I ran into people (especially one place I worked) that didn’t get Seinfeld references and often would openly declare that they’d never watched an episode. They always turned out to be conservatives. The Promise Keepers golf shirts tipped me off anyway.
