OTOH, I'm willing to talk with people (including doorknocking/phoning for candidates, etc.) who may not agree with me 100% (or perhaps even 50%) if I think there's a chance I could persuade them to at least grudgingly vote for a Democratic candidate. Remember all those stay-at-home voters in the last election? They are the people we have to motivate--it will be easier to influence them than to change the mind of a MAGA voter.
To use just one example, I'm a fan of the Chapo Trap House podcast. I enjoy their show even though most of the cast is relatively hostile to mainstream Lib/Dem candidates. (They're big Bernie fans). However, I know that the fans of that show are either grudgingly voting for Democrats, or they're staying home. No way are CTH listeners voting MAGA. A grudging vote is still 100% as much a vote as is an enthusiastic vote!
