5. Bonhoeffer's resistance

Dietrich Bonhoeffer had a message that calls for Christians to directly confront evil. He could have remained in New York, but returned to Germany to resist the Nazification of the church and soon thereafter to actually become a member of on of the conspiracies to end Hitler's regime. When I had the chance to go there, I felt compelled to visit the place of his execution, at the memorial camp in Flossenbürg.
