it could be because that could open a whole can of worms about J6 that Trump doesn't want opened. The bogus prosecutions of Comey, James and (so far) Bolton would not lead to the presentation of trial evidence directly relating to Trump, but going after Cheney and Kinzinger definitely would, unless they can be fake-indicted for something lame and bogus like fake mortgage fraud and fake lying to Congress.
