How in the world are we supposed to ever have power for the foreseeable future? [View all]

MAGAts are taking a massive sledgehammer to this country. Who's going to stop them?

The voters? The corrupt SCOTUS striking down a key provision in the Voting Rights Act and enabling Republican gerrymandering is all but official. Very, very rarely does this court hand down a decision I agree with, and I'm at the point where I'd be pleasantly surprised if they told the felon he can't run again in 2028.

I'm seeing a bunch of MAGAs mocking us online saying we won't hold power for the rest of the century. I'm scared that'll be the case and it'll never swing back our way. What is so terrible about us, anyways?

The good news about is nothing lasts forever, and that will include MAGA, but I'm turning 34 next week, halfway to being a senior citizen. I sure hope I live long enough to see all the damage being undone.

Yes, I've underestimated trump because I overestimated the electorate.

I'm looking for optimism, and I don't know what can make me feel better. We might flip VA's governorship blue, keep New Jersey's governorship blue and pass Prop 50, but I feel like we're in the midst of just winning some battles in a war we're currently being brutalized in.
