There are so many reasons why we should: a historical building/monument, no public input or approval, no process through Congress, and it is not a Trump property. He has stolen it and is turning it into his own palace.
To be clear, the new 'Ballroom' will not host proper State balls, but it will be a grifting venue. He will host gawd knows who to enrich himself. He will use this gilded monstrosity to hold court over international criminals and billionaires who want access to our precious resources. It will not benefit the People in any way shape or form.
It will be a venue of crime and treason.
He will use it to continue to loot our nation.

We should somehow stop it. We should indict the traitor. We should seize his assets and use some to repair the damage already done.
