These findings are based on the latest Pine Tree State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. Pine Tree
State Panel members were sent an innovation to complete the survey and 875 comple ted the survey online, yielding a response ra t e of 43%. In addition, 219 Maine residents completed the survey after receiving an invitation via text message to complete t he survey .
Overall, 1,094 Maine residents completed the survey online between October 16 and October 21. The margin of sampling error for the
survey is + / - 3. 0 percent.
