In reply to the discussion: I had a lovely encounter today at Costco, with an employee. [View all]peacebuzzard
(5,884 posts)62. This makes me want to shop there. I didn't know all this about Costco.
I went there once, oh so long ago, just to check it out; I thought it was just like another Sam's Club.
Which really never suited me, Walmart will do for what I need and I do not need to fill out forms for the membership. My company even provides a substantial discount for the Sam's Club or it might even be Costco...Does Costco require a membership? I thought both of those stores required an extra annual fee.
But after your story, I may give Costco another try even though it is quite a bit further of a drive.
Lovely tale, dear Peggy; I wish you the best on your upcoming surgery.
